A multi-cache located south-west of College Place/Walla Walla.
Valley Chapel Cemetery is my fourth cache in the Walla Walla area and is located to the south-west of College Place at a small unknown pioneer cemetery.
Please note the above coordinates are not at the cache, follow the directions below:
1. Go to the above coordinates, you should be at a tombstone for J. Hastings (one of the tall head stones out in the open). Please note how many 'UV' years, 'WX' months, and 'YZ' days that are listed on the north side of the tombstone.
2. Divide the number of days by 2 and add that number to the last three digits of the original north coordinate. Example, if 'YZ' equals 20 then 20 divided by 2 is 10 + 236 equals 246. This is the final caches last three digits of the north coordinate.
3. Add the digits in the number of years together and subtract that from the last three digits in the original west coordinates to come up with the final caches west coordinate. Example if 'UV' equals 89, then 8 + 9 = 17; 486 - 17 = 469. This is the final caches last three digits of the west coordinate.
4. Find the cache!
The original contents are several children’s toys and a Oregon Geocoin awaits the first visitor, please do not keep the coin, it's goal is to travel the U.S./World from cache to cache. Also, I have placed a travel bug (a scary looking spider) in this cache, it is racing and identical travel bug to Washington D.C., if you are able to please help it on it's way. Look for a 50 caliber ammo container painted green and hidden well.
