This is an easy 2 stage cache with the whole family in Bad Eisenkappel. The hunt should be solved in less than 90min. If it is little snow you can find the cache in winter months.
Bad Eisenkappel lies in the most southern part of Carinthia in the middle of a magnificent mountain landscape. The untouched nature with over 210 km marked hiking trails and the Obir-stalactite cave, where you can experience a bizarre world in the mountain. Known for its climate, which is fog-free throughout the year and its natural therapeutic wonders. The CO-2 cold-water treatment is very successful for blood-, heart-, and circulation problems as well as for rheumatic difficulties.
Start your cache hunt at the coordinates shown in the header. You must visit a small fortress on the rock. This is not a fortress but had a similar function. It was a barrier from the 15th century which had to protect valley against enemies.
Scan the entrance of the ruin you will find 2 engraved letters.
I call the left letter = Y and the right letter = Z .
Transfom the letters into numbers (A=1,B=2,….Z=26).

In which year was Alfred Nobel born = BBBB
Now you can calculate the coordinates for the Cache:
Z x AAAA - 4631 = N 46° _ _ . _ _ _
Y x BBBB + 226 = E014° _ _ . _ _ _
The cache is hidden near a ruin on the top of a rock, covered with a stone plate. If you have bigger items, no problem, the cachebox is a big cucumber glass. For wintercaching increase the terrain difficulty to 3.
