Eccelsfield Reserve - A steep but short stroll to a lovely picnic spot
This is a gorgeous reserve with beautiful beech forest and fern undergrowth. At the top, where the cache is hidden, is a picnic table so I recommend taking a picnic and a wine!
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE PATHS. Start on the track at S 41° 9.225 E 175° 0.902
This is a well preserved native beech forest and therefore we do not want people bashing through the ferns etc. The cache is right next to a picnic spot so there is no need to go off the path.
GPS coverage is a bit patchy so a clue: It is not down Manuka Path (no matter what your GPS tells you).
The cache is a small black tupperware container. Original contents were:
* Nascar Travel Bug
* Thermometre key ring
* Junkmail sign
* Mini photo frame
* Heart stamp
* Flower
* Yellow clip
* 20 cent Euro coin
