You will find at the bottom of this log the email addresses of the Indiana Reviewers as well as a contact at Groundspeak who are happy to help.

Please know that the Indiana reviewers have done everything in their power to keep as many caches as possible on IDNR lands and to make this transition as smooth as possible. They have worked long and hard with the IDNR to come up with a new policy that will work for most cache owners. We are very sorry for any inconvenience the implementation of this permit process may cause.

Geocache Description:

Located in Brown County State Park.

From the Strahl Lake Parking lot the terrain is not too steep but it is rocky and leaf covered and very slippery when wet or going down-hill.

From the west, the terrain is extremely steep, uneven, and slippery this is much shorter but much more difficult.

The cache is in an ammo box loaded with trinkets.

The cache is just off of the Ten O'Clock Line trail, this trail is a one-way trail marked only by silver rectangular pieces of metal that are nailed to trees. Make sure you mark on your GPS where you left your car so you can find your way back.

You can pick up the Ten O'Clock Line trail at the west end of the Strahl Lake dam.

Please watch your footing, part of the trail is through a stream bed with a lot of loose rocks and we came accross a shallow, ~1 foot deep, well that is close to the trail. The trail is very slippery when it is covered with leaves, or is wet or icy.

This is the first in what will be a series of ~5 independent caches that will lead you in a 2+ mile loop starting and ending at Strahl Lake. The overall Difficulty/Terrain rating of the entire loop would be 2.5/3.5.

We enjoy connecting 'official' trails, roadways, natural trails, and fire trails into a decent lengthed and challenging looping trail. We hope you enjoy our loops too.

Cache ya'll later,
Feline Friends
