Geocache Description:

A cache in an interesting location just off the M1.

This cache is the first in a series designed to give you a break on a journey down the M1. It is located just outside the village of Crick. From Jn 18, follow the A428 East, and take the second roundabout signposted for Crick. There is free parking opposite the post office at N52 20.849, W 001 07.976. From the post office there is a footpath that leads straight to the cache, be warned this is very muddy, and crosses lots of styles and a pond! Alternatively walk East along the road, and a much better (although less interesting) footpath will take you to the canal tow path, where you should be able to avoid getting too muddy. As a point of interest, the tunnel which the canal disappears into is 1528 yds long.
