Cache is a ammo box loaded with assorted goodies placed on the Withlacoochie Bay Trail of the Cross Florida Greenway. Be advised that this is prime snake countryand a great place to find them sunning. Watch your feet and have a stick to punch around before placing your hands to retrieve cache.
When she was a little tyke, my Granddaughter who lived in Orlando where there are many lakes of different shapes used to refer to the canal as the straight lake when she came to the Withlacoochie River for a visit. Therefore the name for this cache. At the cache site, you can get a good view of the surrounding area. There a pavillian close by to relax in and do a little fishing if you like. Have fun and enjoy this beautiful park.
