I'll bet that if you live in the Toledo
area you have driven right past here many, many times and not
given it a second glance.
It's a piece of undeveloped
property owned by the Toledo Metroparks. I happened to stop
nearby one day and saw a boundary marker that looked just like one
the Metroparks uses. Curious, I investigated and found out
that this is indeed owned by the Metroparks (therefore public
property.) It's even shown as a park in the newest Lucas County map
from the Lucas County Engineer and listed on the Lucas
County's Auditor's website as property of the
Metroparks.
I have it on good authority
that it's perfectly acceptable to be
here. T
here are no "No
Trespassing" signs, no fences and there's an obvious entrance
to the area. I offer all this ahead of time because once you
get to the area you might be a tad hesitant...don't
be.
The cache is an ammo box. Chances are
pretty good that you will get a little dirty when
you go to find this cache, it's NOT one of my squeaky
clean "you-can-wear-a-suit-to-find-it" micros. This
is why I chose this name for the cache...if I placed one more
micro in Toledo I was in danger of being a typecast cache
hider. This should help squash some of that
image.
