Geocache Description:

Helidocs Railroad History Series #1

This cache is right off the starting point of the Stone Bridge Tail. There is a small parking area off of Rockton Road. Across the road you will see the terminus of the Union Pacific RRs Beloit line. The Stone Bridge-Long Prairie trail runs for approx 20 miles across Northern Illinois. It is built on the old Chicago Northwestern rail line abandonded in the early early 1990's. Ive walked/biked this trail thousands of times in the last 15 years and never tire of it -I hope you enjoy.

If you ride the entire length of the 18 mile trail - you will pass within 1/2 mile of over 15 caches!

Look for a 1 quart ammo can with the usual stuff
