Geocache Description:

The Grand Opening of Little Mulberry Park was in September of 2004. This initial phase encompasses 485 acres the total park will be 890 acres, Little Mulberry Park will be the second largest park owned by Gwinnett County.

Shortly after they began construction I entered the park and walked around to see what the new park would be like. I notice a particular section that was marked off with special flagging, curiosity got the best of me so I headed over to obtain a closer look. What I saw astonished me, it looked like Egyptian hieroglyphics on this very large stone tablet, not wanting to disturb the sensitive area I headed back to my Jeep to get my GPSr and my digital camera. I came back to the site with the table and took a picture so I could determine what the Hieroglyphics said, then I took a GPS reading of N 34° 02.351' - W 83° 52.504' so I could later come back to visit the location.

After the grand opening of Little Mulberry Park in September, 2004. I grabbed my GPSr and headed back to the park to see what special thing they did with the artifact, to my surprise there was nothing mentioned about the Hieroglyphics or the tablet. When I navigated to the coordinates where the stone tablet was located, now there was a pond located there.

I never did uncover out what the Hieroglyphics said, but I think that they are very important since the Gwinnett County Park Service removed all traces of the discovery.

Below is the picture of the Egyptian hieroglyphics as I found them. I hope that you can decipher the secret that Gwinnett County Park Service didn't want anyone to discover.

Please don't post any answers in the logs, as we don't want the Park Service to find out the public knows about the hieroglyphics or the tablet.
