A small cache hidden in Ta-an Forest Park.
Ta-an Forest Park (often just called Ta-an Park) is one of the largest parks in Taipei. On weekends and holidays, you’ll find many people there engaged in all sorts of activities from sunrise until late in the evening. On weekdays, it’s quieter but still a popular place for walking and jogging.
In the northwest part of the park, there is an area containing clumps of green (not light brown) bamboo. On the north side of one of these clumps, there is a cavity near the ground. The cache is inside this cavity.
Since the cache is located not far from a path, you’ll need to be careful that no one is nearby when you remove and replace the cache. You may find a flashlight handy for looking inside the cavity to see the cache.
When replacing the cache, please push it as far as possible into the cavity so that it will not be seen by park workers or passersby.
