Near Bandera. Easy trail, but deep in park.
On trail 8 in Hill Country State Natural Area park. This is first one in this region of the park. Named after our accompanying dog, Diego, and our choice of backpacking nightcap, saki (Japanese rice wine). Contents include a picture of Diego with Santa, a micro led flashlight, esri pin, 1994 quarter, and a logbook and pencil. Container is an orange and white gatorade powder container shaped like the NFL coolers, but only about 6 inches tall. This park has zero water. Bring in your own water!
