A nice stroll along the beach will do you good.
An hour of your time is all this one should take.
A twenty minute drive north from Townsville into what was the city of Thuringowa is the quiet suburb of Saunders Beach, and if you like long beach walks this is a great place to start from.
The beach is a popular tourist stop over the winter holiday period, it is great during summer as well but for one problem, October to May is the season for marine stingers so no swimming, unless you have your stinger suit.
