Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Towner's Woods park near Kent, Ohio. It is located on the Ski Trail less than 50 feet from the path. Work your way around to the left around the crab apple trees. The catch is a one gallon Rubbermaid container covered with camouflage duct tape. It is in the fork of a tree about six feet off the ground. (to make it possible to find in the winter snow.)

There is a camera inside. If you take a photo, please record the picture number (it says number remaining) with your log. The camera, logbook, pencil and pencil sharpener stay with the catch. Everything else travels.

There are other caches in this park. In the summer, . make sure you bring bug spray . The park is open from dawn to dusk and Geodogs are allowed off the leash weekdays and before 10:00 AM on weekends and holidays. New park rules require keeping Geodogs on leash until you are at least 100 feet (32 meters) from the parking lot and under control.

There is a map of the park on the bulletin board in the parking lot.

Check out the Indian Mound (the cache is not near it) and look for eagles, blue herons, beavers, frogs and toads!

Enjoy
