This cache is situated 235 metres from a car park (N 52 ° 46.927', W 2 ° 02.361'), with a 34 metre ascent through the woods. The braken gets very tall in the summer...
If you choose to walk all the way up Broc Hill, then you will be rewarded:
- On the way up by signs of deer (we saw 3 near here on the day of the hide).
- On the top by excellent views including: the Wrekin, Stafford Castle, and in the autumn, particularly in the evening, brilliant autumn colours (including Oat Hill ... GCB234 is excellent). There is a sophisticated sun dial on top of Broc Hill, complete with instructions...
You will see the railway cutting used in the war. You may even see a reptile, but not dangerous, and they normally hide before you get there ...
The container is a clear plastic screw top 'bottle', 4" diameter, 10" long, containing:
- A log book, pencil and sharpener - please leave Aphrodite some extra wise words ...
- Some initial swaps (all labelled): a home made book mark -bookmark@..., a wooden puzzle -sphere@..., and a pack of trick cards -cards@... We'd like to know where they get to, ie. traditional hitch hiker bugs :-)

Done here ? So where exactly is The Hole ?
