Geocache Description:

This cache has been planted smack in the middle of, the half a million acres of cache desert in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The cache one of me pots with a log book and usual bits and bobs in. It is hidden just short of half a mile from the Sir Tatton Sykes Monument @ 54°02.616'N, 0°32.365'W. This is one impresive sight.. not yer normal run of the mill monument, check out the piccy. You can park here and walk to the cache site or drive, whatever the mood takes.

This was going to be an offset cache but found you could get info affa the net to solve it.. Oh! Joy.

Sir Tatton Sykes, had a bit of a reputation as a bare knuckle fighter, but also as a good kinda guy, Well his friends built this thing for him.

May I suggest a look around Sledmere, not a lot there but the archetecture is something else. The Hall has gardens and also had quite a reputation as a stud.

Just can't understand why some Yorkshireman aint got in first !!!!!!!

Enjoy.
