There is no question that the main attraction at Stony Brook State Park is the awesome Gorge and the 3 trails that offer breathtaking views of this natural wonder. My first 2 caches in the park were placed to encourage cachers to see what this beautiful little State Park has to offer along and in the main gorge.
STONY BROOK III: THE PARK LESS TRAVELED is an opportunity to see more of the park in an area that does not get as much use and can be a bit more peaceful during the hustle and bustle of the busy season
The cache is located in a typical “ROCKY Place” , just a nice spot in the woods that will seem familiar to the folks who have been to some of my other 29 caches.
