It is an ammo box with camo paint job and contains: log, and trinkets of all sorts
Terrain may be harder at times due to mud and soft ground so I gave this 2 stars for terrain.
Thanks to Holligan for letting me bring thsi one "back to life"
Old Hazlehurst Cemetery is located in the town of Hazlehurst in Copiah County. It is one of the older cemeteries in the county. The oldest recorded grave is 1858. With new graves laid often. There are approximately 812 identifiable grave markers. In a different section of this cemetery rests my grandmother and grandfather with my grandmothers grave being as new as the year 2000.
Close to here lie 70 unknown soldiers. They fought not wanting honor or valor, but to protect there chosen Government. They could have been brothers, father and son perhaps, but we don’t know. Two were pushed aside but they were not forgotten, but now they all sleep.
There are other graves hidden out of site all over this cemetery that have been taken over by the woods or sunken into the ground with time.
Very close to the cache you will find what I thought was a child’s grave that had been untended but, after pulling some of the weeds I found it to be a man in his 20's.
So please tread lightly, as you never know what you may find.
While here research the other tombstones and it will make you think what life must have been like back in that time.
