Geocache Description:

This cache overlooks one of the most beautiful golf courses in the U.S.! Redlands Mesa GC is a winding, undulating course set in red rock in Grand Junction, Colorado.

This rubbermaid container is just big enough to hold its original contents: 6 scorecards, 6 pencils, 3 balls, and 2 ball markers, all from Redlands Mesa GC. You are invited to trade any of these items for similar things from other golf courses as long as they have a logo on them. Let's see how many exotic courses we can get!
To get here, you may use two basic approaches. First, you can drive to the end of Easter Hill Dr. (39 04. 369N, 108 38.013W) and park there. It used to be possible to drive farther, but it was blocked off in 2006. This would be a great place to begin a hike (about 1.1 miles) or ride your bike.
Second, you can drive to the other side of the outcropping, on South Camp Road, and turn onto Canyon Rim Drive (by Wingate Elementary School). Take it to the end (39 03.402N, 108 38.424W), then hike from there for about a half mile. This is a little more challenging terrain, but very doable!
