A special thanks to the Wright County Conservation board for
working with us on this. Lake Cornelia is one of our most favorite
places in Iowa. There is a beautiful nature trail there that many
of the locals are not even aware of. The trail is open year round.
There is plenty of camping space, with a shower house. It's a good
place for the fishermen and for those who like to water ski, or jet
ski. I spent a lot of weekends camping here as a kid. Please park

Very little bush wacking is required here. The cache is an ammo
can that is hidden less than 30 feet from the trial. I would
recommend completing the entire trail, just for fun. It would take
a little longer if you follow the trail numbers and directions, but
you may stay on the trail better that way. Walk NE past the
enclosed shelter until you see the sign for the nature trail, after
that you are on your own. HAVE FUN!
