Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the beautifal bosque next to the Rio Grande. It is a short hike from the Rio Grande Nature Center. Here is how to get there.

Take I-40 to the Rio Grande Exit.

Go North to Candeleria.

Make a left and go all the way to the end and proceed into Rio Grande Nature Center.

NOTE: May need to pay a parking fee if parinking inside the nature center grounds.

Proceed on trail across the riverdrain. This is a walking trail ONLY.

The trail is called The riverwalk trail. Go until you reach the great view of the Rio Grande Marker 12, and where the brown arrow says right, take a left, follow trail until you find cache. Good Luck!
