Geocache Description:

Small Tylenol (like) pill bottle wrapped in white duct tape, approximate size is 5 inches tall and 2 inches around. Log only, bring pen. Trade tiny items only.

This cache was placed off Indian Head Rd in Study Butte, TX. The geological formation in the area looks like a giant egg.

It's not of course, but let your imagination run wild as you drive through this remote area of the desert. This can be a difficult find for some. The hill is VERY steep, but it's not a long hike. So many little hiding spots to choose from is what will make this find more difficult. Watch your step and its best not to hunt if it's wet and slippery outside. GPS will bounce a bit as you get close to the cache due to the looming cliffs above. REMEMBER to take LOTS of WATER on this hike in, especially if you keeping walking after you find the cache. Even the hike back up to your car can wear you out. As usual, this is the desert, so watch for cactus and snakes! After you locate the cache, continue down the road to the parking area near the entrance to BBNP. There is a nice walking trail leading back to the ancient cave wall writings.

(You can NOT drive ANY type of vehicle into the park near here, but you can walk in) As you walk you will see millions of tiny flint particles from the Native Indians that once inhabited the area.

We even saw a Perrigrine Falcon flying way up on the cliffs as we walked down to the Big Bend National Park entrance into Indian Head.

Road turn off coords: N29 19.831 W103 32.047 Cave markings coords: N29 19.982 W103 29.998 - here you will find 2 hand prints and an egg on the lower part of the main wall.

[Follow the obvious trail to up to cache hiding area, then take your time and look in the obvious hidey holes. Cache is still here, so do not give up too easily. :) Relax and enjoy!]
