Though for 4WD only, this trip is straight forward. There is a chance of getting stuck so a second vehicle and rescue equipment is needed. To venture further into the desert from this point requires experience and comprehensive rescue equipment.
The following extract is taken from the log of Scarinian: Grasping the enchanted sword of Scalim I fled through the dark forest with Vorbex warriors in hot pursuit. My intent was to capture the old weapons of these warriors but upon being discovered I hot-tailed it out of their camp but had yet to lose them. It was now time to dispose of the Sacred Urn of Riyadh lest it be captured… but where. Then I saw it, high up in a tree, a hole guarded by the Keto Kestrel. As I contemplated the hide I remembered the foretelling of the Old Widow Hag from Kingdom. “You will be tempted to hide the urn in a tree but resist for by the time that those seeking the cache arrive, these trees will have fallen and become petrified. Though the seekers will marvel at the trees’ fossilised splendour they will not find an urn so hidden. Go seek another hiding place”. What wise words indeed and so looking for an alternative site I climbed a short rise only to find Vorbex Warriors patrolling on top. Quickly locating a natural hole in the rock I placed the urn within and used rocks to hide it from view. Then sliding down the short rise…
