Geocache Description:

This micro is a cache 'n dash.

It’s not mobs of hoodlums who roam this area. And there are no windmills, grist mills, flour mills, or pepper mills. General Mills cereals have nothing to do with this place. There are mills that are malls, but not here.

This little hamlet’s name comes from a type of saw that was developed in the mid-1800’s by mounting multiple saw blades on a frame thus enabling multiple boards to be cut with one pass of a log. Back then, this area was heavily forested with Maple and Pine and was the home of New York State’s largest lumbering operation.
