This is a pretty straightforward multi. If parking is open near
the first stage, and you beeline from there to the final, it's
about .35 miles roundtrip. However, make your decision of how to
approach the final carefully.
First stage: The biggest darned bison container you've ever
seen! Well, it's not a bison container, but it could be related. If
it were related, it's about 8x-10x the size of a real one. It's
also convienently camoflauged!
Final: 50cal ammocan, could be tough. You DO NOT need to
endanger yourself to locate the cache, so don't think about it.
Terrain rated 3 for possible routes to final; otherwise, I'd
give it a 1.5 or a 2. As always, watch out for poison plants in the
warm months. Hints are pretty much spoilers. Have fun!
Note added 12/11/06: The county has made some minor
modifications that now ease direct access to the stages, but I'm
still leaving the terrain rating the same just in case. Also
tweaked the final hint just a bit to reflect the passage of
time.
04/15/07:Final found to be missing, so replaced original
30 cal can with 50 cal ammo can a short distance away. First stage
also updated.
