Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small Camo container approx 2x5

Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, plans were developed around 5 years ago to make an assortment of major and minor transportation improvements in the Meadowview Basin, which is also commonly described as the “Convention Center Area” as well as the “Interstate 181 / JB Dennis Highway / Wilcox Drive Area”.

The City of Kingsport, the Kingsport MPO, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation are all working on various projects which are scheduled for completion over the next 10 years.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is also working with Kingsport on the relocation of Wilcox Drive, which is State Route 126. Other long-range projects include; widening of Interstate 181 to 6 lanes (from Bays Mountain to Rock Springs Road), building new “back-door” connector road from Moreland Drive to Relocated Wilcox – Phase I, and rebuilding Shadyview Road from Wilcox Drive to Timberland Court.
