Geocache Description:

A cache for the "Travelin' Sam" travel bug (TB149D )

I took the "Travelin' Sam" travel bug down to California in order to place it in Bakersfield - see the web page above to read about Sam ( click on "User's Web Page" ). Since I can't find a cache big enough to hold Sam I have decided to create a cache just for Sam.

This theme-based cache is located in south Bakersfield near my aunt and uncle's home, just off Truxton and The Kern River. Park in "Kern River Parkway" at N 35 21.887 W 119 04.109. The cache is one of the smaller ammo cans.

Please trade only dog-related items in this cache - I have placed six doggy related items in the cache.
