This cache is located in the public camping area of Webster Park. The cache is small with no room for trade items. It is winter accessible.
There are ten caches in this series. The first nine caches each contain one of nine badges you’ll earn as you improve your outdoor skills. Once you have found them, you'll have the information you need to find the final cache and earn the Geocaching Merit Badge.
When you find this cache, note the letter and number assigned to that badge. You’ll need that information to decode the location of the final cache.
To earn the badge, answer the following questions. If you get stuck, you'll find the answers in the cache.
1. What are the ingredients of a s’more?
2. You hang your food in a tree to protect it from what animal?
3. How do you hold a tent down?
4. How do you waterproof matches?
Click on the image below to see a game card showing the nine caching badges. You can print this page and attach each badge (sticker) on top of its picture to track your progress as you complete the series. It is also a convenient place to record the badges' secret letter and number to decode the location of the final cache.
The cache is small with no room for trade items. A small travel bug would be OK.
For the first to find, the Lamplighter Travel Bug is waiting to visit other camp sites.
