Nothing fancy here ... just a pill bottle -- not too small and not
too big -- armor-clad in a popular and easily recognizable
material. Inside: logsheets and a couple of small pencils ...
sorry, no room for trading trinkies.
Came to Deer Grove to hunt a special cache (GCM17A) placed
recently to recognize GeoGil's #1000 milestone find.
After a successful mission, we mused on our way back to the
cachemobile that we still had the little seedling we had retrieved
from the South Side Seed Cache (GCJG4B) way back in September.
Found that one after the big geo-picnic in, yes, the company of
GeoGil and his faithful four-legged caching companion, Dairy.
Well ... DOH! Seemed appropriate to dedicate this little
seedling to Dairy and to place it in the same preserve where her
master's special cache is hidden. She's quite a Dane ... and we've
enjoyed many interesting trail times with her and her faithful
human sidekick.
*****Maintenance Visit: 24 September 2005 ... wit all the
traffic to this cache during the geo-picnic last weekend, decided
the logsheets were likely full ... installed fresh logsheets today.
Have fun!
