In this season of Thanksgiving I place a cache in the Marrland Open Space to give thanks.
This camoed three pound cottage cheese container is placed in a large sumac bush that is just beginning to make its way back from the dead from the ravages of last year's fire.
I placed this cache to give thanks because it is that season of the year and to give thanks for all the new green growth we saw along this trail today. We saw birds, squirrels and insects as well as all the wonderful new growth. I give thanks that mother nature always triumphs.
Enjoy the hike and the views in Las Llejas Canyon.
