Located in Decatur's Fairview Park. Should be an easy find.
The Three Deer Running cache has been replaced. It had been vandalized, swept away by flood waters, and kicked around by rogue deer. However, it has returned.
Replaced the cache. It is no longer hidden "down low". Look for it in a higher place in the same location. If it disappears again then it's time to find another hiding place in the area.
Hopefully the rogue deer and vandals won't easily find the cache this time. It has been placed near the original coordinates so no new waypoint is needed. Please be sure to snap the waterproof cover on tightly. Bring small items to trade and a pen to sign the log.
The cache will be inaccessible (unless you have a pirogue) in the spring because the creek does flood.
We saw three deer in the area as we were hiding the cache, hence the name.
