Geocache Description:

The cache is in Lewinsville Park. No great challenges in terrain, just a pleasant walk.

The location of this cache demonstrates why Hedra helix (English Ivy) is on the Alien Invasive Plant list of Virginia and most states. See www.nps.gov/plants/alien/pubs/midatlantic/hehe.htm English Ivy aggressively swallows and kills native species by slow strangulation and blocking out sunlight vital to survival.

Your journey to the cache will also take you by a display of another dangerous alien species, Ampelopsis brevipedunculata, Porcelain-Berry. Oh, and watch out for the Lonicera japonica(honeysuckle)tendrils that like to grab Geocachers!

Oh yes, the cache is the standard ammo box, filled with wonderful, amazing items, including a FTF Certificate, special FTF and 2d to Find rewards and Obie, the Friendly Alien TB.

Please trade up or even to keep the cache appealing.
