This cache is placed atop a large mound, facing the Spring Mountains, on the side of the mound in a rock cropping. It is nestled into a lower crevice covered with stones, but readily visible if you were to spot it.
This cache ia approx: .30 miles from the starting path point, and about 3,768 feet in total elevation. The cache container is an ammo can painted in desert camo colors, to help it blend into the surrounding territory. Inside this cache one would fine the usual Log with pencil and pencil sharpener along with a spare log book, and several "NASA" flight patches from NASA in the Clear Lake, Texas area where they originated. There has also been claim to see some travel companions hiding here awaiting to be picked up so they can continue their journeys.
