Located at the top of Long Mountain in the Beacon Ring at a height of 408m, so it may be very cold and exposed in winter.
The best approach is via the Offa's Dyke Path (Parking can be found at the Offa's Dyke Business Park at SJ 251087)but for those couch potatoes it is possible to drive to near the top up the old Roman road.(It may be impassible in snow)Walking boots and full waterproofs recommended. The cache is in a medium sized plastic tub. Ensure the lid is replaced securely and upright, and it is well covered.
