Geocache Description:

Second of 2 in Botanic Garden [edit - only one for now - have to move the other farther away to meet guidelines]. A great place for a weekend trek.

Bento Box 5 (Bento is Japanese for lunch box), named after SHRTRDG's son Benton.

WE HAVE MOVED the cache out of the bamboo to a more "residential" location. Another paint can-style can, so bring your keys or swiss army knife to open the can.

Located in the South Coast Botanic Garden - we planted 2 here. (other being moved)

Original Contents: Samantha Fox Tape, Knight, White Tiger, Skull Pez dispenser, and kids wet ones. Also log and pencil.

South Coast Botanic Garden

The South Coast Botanic Garden is a unique 87-acre garden environment. The garden was once a landfill and now has over 150,000 beautifully landscaped plants and trees. Some of the more diverse plants include flowering fruit trees, redwoods, ginkgos and pittosporum. The more popular gardens are the Water-wise Garden, Herb Garden, English Rose Garden, and Garden of the Senses. A small lake and stream bed attract various birds such as ducks, geese, coots, and blue heron. There are walking and shuttle tours and picnic areas. Horticultural lectures, classes and plant shows are provided for all visitors. This is an ideal place for school field trips!

If ever there were a place that would be fun to hide 100 caches, THIS park is the place! : )

There is a tree right above the cache, so the coordinates will get you within 10 feet or so probably.
