Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the Isle of Ixtapa. In order to get to the island, go to 17 40.933N and 101 38.666W. At this location is Playa Linda, any taxi or bus can take you. Go through the market area and head to the end of the pier and purchase a ticket for the water taxi to the island.

For the past few years our parents have taken the entire family to Ixtapa for Thanksgiving. We have always enjoyed going to this island for snorkeling and relaxing. The coral beach on the ocean side of the island can be seen from the cache location, this is a great place to snorkel. Enjoy the sites on the way to the cache, we sure did. The cache is a small water tight container (blue), the type you might see hanging in the market. It is only big enough for the log book and a pencil. There is a trail which goes with in 5' of the cache. No bush wacking required. The trail has lots of traffic, so be on the alert for muggles. Good luck and have fun.

Small note on cache maintenance: I have made arrangements with a local worker at Club Med to be our local contact if there is a problem with the cache. We have email contact with this person.
