The Cache is on the St. Jacobs Mill Race Trail, which is an easy to navigate trail.
As the name suggests, the trail follows the 'high water' canal way leading to the old St. Jacobs mill, which now is a retail outlet for various local artisans!!
You can park at: N43 32.449 W80 33.351
If you come in the evening, just before dark, you're likely to see numerous Muskrats that raid the farmer’s cornfield to the north, for food. At this time of the year (November), there are large 'floats' of 'tree limbs' and 'corn stalks', which I presume to be the 'winter larder'. Even if you don't see the muskrats, it is hard to miss the trails they make, from the field to the 'mill race'.
If you continue East on the trail a short distance, you'll find the source of the mill race, a weir on the Conestogo River. From this location we've observed (to the North) the Flying Dutchmen remote control airplanes performing aerial stunts. This was quite entertaining.
BTW: Other caches, may be closer then you think!!
This is NOT a "small" cache!
