Geocache Description:

Why would I ever drive to the Barbed Wire capital? Because there’s a geocache there...and much much more. This cache can be found by all including the handicapped. It is in a small roadside park area right next to three museums.

You will be looking for an ammo box with the usual trading stuff and a log book.

The First to Find will have a chance to trade for a Where’s George dollar bill in a protective plastic sleeve. Also to grab The Big Bad Wolf travel bug and be the first to begin his journey.

This cache is Lacrosse's first geocache. But it's not just a geocache. It is hidden in a spot that has 3 FREE Museums and a historical marker of pioneer educator Howard R. Barnard. Take some time to take it all in. The museums are open mid-April through mid-October but the historical marker is always there. So is the cache.
