Bears in Halton? You bet!
This is a multi cache with two virtual stages and a traditional final.
Stage #1
At the posted coordinates you will find a couple of bears, make a note of the five digit number nearby (the sum of the five digits is 14)You will need this number to calculate the North coordinates of the Final.
Stage #2
Coordinates for stage #2 are N43 36.831 W079 55.560
At these coordinates you will find a bear, make a note of the five digit house number(the sum of the digits is 19). You will need this number to calculate the West coordinates of the final.
Stage #3 - the Final
Coordinates for Final:
N43 and W079 are assumed.
To obtain the North coordinate of the Final take the five digit number you noted at stage #1, divide by 1000 and add to latitude minutes 15.144
To obtain the West coordinate of the Final take the five digit number you noted at stage #2, divide by 1000 and add to longitude minutes 46.823
The cache is hidden approximately 40m from the trail and when placed was full of bears.
