TreePlanter's Top Notch Cache:
This cache is at one end of the great under used Green Lake Pathway
trail system. The other end has been clear cut at the start of
2007. Geeeesh!
This is one great
Pathway, which I hope to hike the whole thing soon. Parking is
at the Mud Lake Campground. Wow, the person who named this
lake did it an injustice because it is one big, beautiful, and
gorgeous lake! The coords will bring you to a post with eight
digits on it. Add the numbers on the post, multiply by four,
and then add that to the North and West coords of: N 43 54.267
and W 085 04.273 The walk should be about a 1/4 mile from the
trailhead. If you get 2 or 3 miles , something is wrong. At
the trailhead please notice Steve Reed's great map. It was
done for his eagle scout project. If you are up to a big hike,
hit my Busy Busy Beavers cache, #GCJMRP, on this pathway also.
At the campground ,there are bathrooms, boat ramp, well water,
and picnic tables. It is nice! The cache is an ammo box. It
has a camera to take your picture. The first finders prize are
a couple of lotto tickets. I hope they are lucky for you.
Also, a new Happy Ghost Travel Bug. I hope someone gets it
before it is snowed in. Help!!!! Wear hiking boots, there are
some Mud areas.
Lots of Birds! See the May 22nd, 2009 log for the names of some
of them.
