This cache is in Fertile Iowa in the Williams Rhodes Island Park. Very short walk. .10 miles from downtown.
The park was built in 1868 and features a dam and the Rhodes Mill, also built in 1868, is across the river. The old mill has a family living in it, plus part of it can be rented out for vacations. There is a nice foot bridge leading from main street to the park or you can drive into the park. The park has many oak trees and narrow drives between the trees. A week before placing the cache, I watched a river otter in the pond south of the dam. He was very entertaining to watch! I hope he sticks around for a long time.
The cache is a 2 lb. peanuts jar painted camo. At the time of placing the contents were:
