..so I figured I'd place a cache to celebrate. The container is
inspired by my pal Okillezzz and was put together with the
assistance of Two-Legged Carl. Please try to keep the tool attached
to the lid.
The location is pretty pedestrian, though it's a great starting
point for some great walks or bike-rides, and you might see my
nephew training for his next adventure race --he's the super
handsome one with the cool technical gear and the monster-yummy
trail bike.
This is a smallish cache, so bringing things less than a foot
long and less than 3 inches or so wide would be a Good Thing. In
fact, the log book I brought with me to place in the cache was too
big, so I ended up making one on the spot with some handy paper
& a used shoe-lace. Please be gentle with it.
Initial contents include a night light for the first finder,
several pencil sharpeners (just please leave one for the cache), a
red padlock, a finger puppet, some fishy stickers, some dolphin
stickers, a purple squishy thing, a CITO cannister made from an
unused sterile sample jar, some cool x-ray glow-in-the-dark
stickers, a rock or two, a pink necklace, and a tea strainer. Oh,
and two cool BIOHAZARD stickers. My theory is if you have a junky
old truck AND a biohazard sticker on the back window, who's going
to want to break in?
Please please please don't tighten the lid too much. It's tight
enough if the surface of the lid is just barely below the surface
of the container.
Have fun, and send me keep-quit-vibes :-)
