Geocache Description:

This is the old University of Oslo or Domus Media.


Opened in 1852 and the main design of Christian heinrich Grosch.

Aulaen, in this building, contains murals by E. Munch. The most famous is the "Solen", which meet you as you enters the room.

Outside, on Universitetsplassen, The Salvation Army have a stand every christmas. Here you can contribute with money, food,clothes. Almost anything is accepted, so the Salavtion army can help the ones that are not so resourceful.

You may also enjoy the municipal christmas tree. In December, of course!!

The cache is now a micro . It contains the usual log,pencil,stahsnote and some tradable stuff.
