Originally, this cache was part of the release of the "enhanced" travel bugs removed from Roamer's Ransom by The Constabulary. Walden Run had collected these travel bugs from generous geocachers who attended the event so that he could deliver the ransom demanded by The Chain Gang. Right from under his "unsuspecting", yet watchful eyes, the travel bugs disappeared.
The Constabulary reported the next day that they had removed the bugs and that they would be returned.
Bug Owners were notified with the log: "This TB is part of a Crime Scene Investigation and will be returned as soon as possible !!"
After their preliminary investigation, The Constabulary concluded that Walden Run was not the perpetrator, but rather an innocent victim of suspicion. The Constabulary is confident that Mr. Run will be able to honor his commitment to the true perpetrators and insure his personal safety. The
Constabulary released the "now enhanced" evidence to Mr. Run in this multi-cache tonight.
During a telephone conversation, Walden Run (a/k/a Waldo) reported that he was advised to come alone to the cache coordinates for further instructions !! In the Part 1 cache, he found a second set of coordinates for the final where the Travel Bugs were dropped. "Where will the Travel Bugs go ?" many asked, as Walden Run showed the box. He replied: "How in the heck did an innocent bystander like me get sucked into this ChainGang vs Constabulary conflict? Because only Mr. Run was able to find the final of the cache, it may be logged this time after finding only Part 1.
Many of us attending were "unknowingly" interrogated by The Constabulary. They must have left quickly to pursue other criminals because they left the cache. After reading many of the event logs,
it is clear that many of us are confused and curious. This cache will follow close behind the footsteps of the "presumed innocent".
