Very easy Webcam Cache in Hay Springs. You could probably complete it from your car!
Welcome to the first Webcam Cache in Hay Springs! (This is also the first in the Nebraska Panhandle, the only Webcam Cache west of Lincoln and the only one in Nebraska that isn’t on a University campus. Yes, we use technology all the way out here!:-)
Find the location and face NNW. You should be able to see the Webcam in the window. Have someone at home browse to www.haysprings.net and look for the Main Street Cam on the left side of the page. Click ON THE IMAGE for a snapshot that will update every 10 seconds. WAVE and have your friend on the computer right-click on your picture and save it to your hard drive. Note that if your friend selected “Click for LIVE feed!” they won’t be able to save an image, although they can probably see you waving.
For the truly Geek, you can also capture your own image using a laptop with a wireless 802.11b network adapter. Don’t let the laptop stray too far from the Webcam, set your IP address to “Obtain automatically” and you should be all set.
If you need help and the webcam host is open, they will be happy to assist you with your picture!
