Geocache Description:

Just off State Highway 4 at Okahukura north of Taumarunui.

Roadside with plenty of parking.
Structure is the start of the branch railway to New Plymouth which is disused at the moment due to a large slip which KiwiRail are still pondering over the economics of clearing it. In the meantime Forgotten World Adventures have a 20 year lease on the line and are successfully running tours on the track using modified golf carts. Great trip -- their office is 5th on the right (the motel) opposite New World as you enter Taumarunui from SH4.
