Geocache Description:

Member of Middle Tennessee GeoCachers Club - www.mtgc.org

Located about 300' north, where the city reservoir is today, Casino Hill was the Union army's forward defensive position between Fort Negley and Fort Morton. For this position a simple battery, with a deep ditch and eight-foot rock scraps. The two faces were directed upon Morton and Negley, so as to expose the hill to the fire of these forts.
