This crummy micro might just be the slap upside the head that you
so desperately need...
I figgered since other folks is
hidin these here micro cache things on lightin posts in parkin
lots that I otta hide me one like that too. It weren’t easy
though seein as how they don’t have none of them fancy-dancy
electric streetlights in this here parkin lot like they do at
the Wal-Mart. I’m thinkin that it would pri cost them too much
for the electric to run the dern things and then they would
end up havin to raise the price of them nineteen-cent hamburgs
to a quarter whiched cause a revolt in these here parts and
there ain’t no one around here includin me that is liken to
see that happen. Anyways, I found me another way to hide me
one of them there film canisters with the scrap of paper in
cus I figger they's free and it ain’t gonna cost me nuthin
iffin it gets lost. So I puts it in one of them potholes
that’s in this here parkin lot and covered it over with a
broken piece of that there blacktop so’s it wouldn’t run away.
Now I’m supposin it pri won’t get buried anytime soon cus they
never fix them holes unless somebody has some extry pavin left
over that they wanna sell fer cheap. I remember this happen
one time to my neighbor when he was fixin the parkin spot
besides his old lady’s trailer fer her birthday and he ended
up with some extry on his truck that he couldn’t use. He was
gonna dump it up there in the gamelands just to be rid of it
before someone tell him that he could pri take it down to
Pechins and sell it. He then done made hisself a very fine
deal and ended up gettin a free case of cold beer just for
fillin in a couple of them potholes with that extry he didn’t
want anyways. Now I’m not sayin this micro cache thing is
still gonna be here fer sure when yinzes go lookin fer it so
don’t be tryin too hard to find it. The folks around here
really don’t like people pokin around their cars and such fer
no good reason. Iffin you can’t find the blasted thing cus it
got ran over or what not, go right ahead and log yer find
anyway cus we’re all kin around here and we don’t keep score
like city folk. I hear tell but can’t figure fer the life of
me why anyone would wanna run from guardinrail to guardinrail
and lightin post to lightin post looking for them there little
bits of paper to write their name on unlessen they’re drivin
NASCARs and makin autygraphs for their fans. I mean to tell
yins that it’s the derndest thing I ever did hear tell of.
Ain’t this all just a wee bit stupid? It reminds me of that
time when my little one was pickin up acorns in the backyard
and then she started cryin and couldn’t stop cus she got this
fool idea into her head that she had to pick up all the acorns
in the whole woods and she just couldn’t get it done. The
doctor said that it was somethin called O-C-D but we all knew
that she was just messed up in her tiny little head. I done
give her the medicine that the doctor prescribed but it didn’t
do her one lick of good. She just kept on a cryin until her
stepdad finally got tired of it and slapped her upside the
head. She was done cured of her O-C-D right away after that.
Sometimes it’s all yer kin do…
