So there she was, the DaxiMutti. Wonderful Texas winter afternoon. Tooling along Hwy 287 in her 26-year-old car. Just picked it up from the car doctor. Running fine. Exit to the frontage road - why here and not at the normal exit? Only the geocaching gods will know. Zip - off the highway. Whhhhhrrrrr - and it stood still! Pushed it out of the traffic (not that there was much) and onto the very wide corner shoulder. Called Triple A. Standing there contemplating selling the ancient beast, thanking several people for offering to help, counting thousands of acorns and scuffing around in the gravel, she noticed a place that just HAD to be the home of a cache!! But no, no cache there. Wait, maybe there should be one there! Now there is.........
