This really interesting site is at of one of the first settlements of Polish immigrants to Texas. It is called the Shrine of the Black Madonna. For more info, click here The Handbook of Texas: Poles The gates here are open from 9-7 daily.
All are free to wander the grounds and learn about this little shrine dedicated to the Patron Saint of Poland.
