The location is called Belchers Marsh, and it is part of Belchers Marsh Park. Johnathan Belcher (1710-1776) was a Supreme Court Justice of Nova Scotia and was later the first Lieutenant Governor. He helped with the establishment and interpretation of the law in Nova Scotia, including the court system, based on the laws of Britain. Belchers Marsh Park was officially named by HRM Chebucto Community Council in January, 2003 after a presentation by the Friends of Belchers Marsh. Thanks to Dragonflys for this information.
Parking should be available along the road; just look for where other cars are parked. Or, you can use the parking lot at the coordinates above.
