The location is called Belchers Marsh, and it is part of Belchers Marsh Park. Johnathan Belcher (1710-1776) was a Supreme Court Justice of Nova Scotia and was later the first Lieutenant Governor. He helped with the establishment and interpretation of the law in Nova Scotia, including the court system, based on the laws of Britain. Belchers Marsh Park was officially named by HRM Chebucto Community Council in January, 2003 after a presentation by the Friends of Belchers Marsh. Thanks to Dragonflys for this information.
There is a small pencil with the log sheet, but you might want to bring your own that's easier to write with.
Parking should be available along the road; just look for where other cars are parked. Or, you can use the parking lot at the coordinates above.
While you're here, you might want to check out my other cache in Belchers Marsh Park, Bridges in the 'Burbs.
